The role of a Plant Production Control and Logistics Manager is to manage the production control and logistic activities of the plant at the lowest cost with the best service, deploy the PC&L standards processes and continuously improve their effectiveness, efficiencies and sustainability. The Plant PC&L Manager is accountable for Plant PC&L Budget realization (Inventories, Logistics and PC&L Headcount) and for the execution of the PCL standard processes related to Customer management and deliveries, production planning, internal and external flows managements.

Your tasks:

* Improvement of the Logistics performance according to delivery targets, quality targets and financial targets

* Problem and conflict management with the suppliers in terms of daily deliveries

* Escalation of problems with suppliers

* Product change management: tracking survey of changing components compliance with time, cost and deployment requirements and tracking of price negotiations for changes

* Ensure that the customer activity plan is applied to the plant programming

* Price negotiations regarding transport providers in term of cost, utilization, etc. shared with Corporate PC&L

* Report on plant results according to the department indicators to Corporate Logistics

* Material planning / procurement of Tier 2 components to cover all part requirements for Assembly

*Responsibility for supply guarantee of subcomponents to cover our material request for cockpit assembly

* Responsibility for stock inventory optimizing into consideration of transportation

* Avoidance of obsolescence's

* Control of a balanced truck arrival management

* Responsibility for MSES standards

* Drive improvement process and brings new ideas

* Manage adequate staffing, training, motivation and development of team members

* Responsibility for managing internal logistics team

Your profile:

The ideal candidate will have/be:

*Master's degree in industrial or supply-chain management

*Experienced "people manager" with a interest in the assigned team - required 

* Minimum of seven years of experience in automotive industry or in related industries - required

* Experience in supply chain management (Procurement, Logistic Chain) - required

* Minimum bi-lingual (English/must, German/adventage)

* Customer orientation, Leadership, Team spirit, Autonomy, Rigor, Openness to new ideas
